Reich lives near the temple of darkness in Shaede. A rather eccentric boy, he believes himself to be the apprentice to the sage of darkness, Heketch Tghelmann, though Heketch doesn't seem to acknowledge this.
Reich also believes he is evil, but doesn't seem to have the first clue about what evil actually is. He sometimes attempts to help players with the quests for the dark sage, but instead usually ends up impeding them in rather comical ways.
He is a somewhat short, average-looking boy. Reich always appears wearing some sort of pop-culture hooded sweater (TMW's pop culture, whatever that is), along with jeans and sneakers. Along with his wish-to-be-evil attitude, he has a sense of urban-ghetto around him. He seems out of place wherever he is put, and tends to act that way too.
