Tempus Keshlam

This land is known as the Desert of Silence. Machines of old lay upon this wasteland, rotting away like a memory wishing to be forgotten. Through the rocky terrain, around barren plains, History has been made.

History

In a place ridden with the scraps of the past, in a place where silence reigns and greed spreads...

This was once a Kingdom at peace. People traded with the other Kingdoms, and everyone lived in harmony. The other Kingdoms valued Tempus Keshlam for it's wondrous gems. That ended quickly when the demons came and influenced the Humans to turn against eachother. They took Tempus Keshlam's most sacred jewel, the Domunga. The demons infused the stone with greed and sabotage and then scattered it around Tempus.

This jewel was shaped like an arrowhead, and was said to be able to point you in the direction of your destiny, your lover, riches, and some even said your greatest desire. It's color was violet, yet quickly changed to a oceanic shade of blue when, according to myth, what you were seeking was in the direction the arrowhead was pointing to at the time.

The Mudohans discovered the jewel first, deep within their mines. The citizens were turned evil quickly, becoming malicious and cold-hearted. A Civil war broke out, and though it ended abruptly, scars of that war still affect the great city and their ability to communicate with the other nations.

Soregqal became distant with their lead city, fearing that they too might become like them. Most Soregqals do not like Seldur, or any of Mudoha, and it seems as if soon they will rebel.

And yet, after many years, Tempus Keshlam remains the Desert of Silence. Despite the greed, despite the wars, despite the disputes and political conflict. The machine wasteland still lies there...in Silence.
