General information
The Troll Cave was designed to give players a better possibility to level their characters at the levels between ~60-80. New monsters were created: Trolls, Undead Trolls and Undead Witches can be found there. Another highlight are two Terranites at the south-western corner of the map. It's possible to train alone in this map, but of course you are more effective training in a group.
Trolls are the signature monsters in the Troll Cave.
History
Until the end of 2013 Fire Skulls and Poison Skulls inhabited the Graveyard, but it was easily possible to lure them away to a place where they wouldn't bother anyone so you could train even low level characters there. Since the Graveyard was actually designed for level 90+ at this time the developers made changes so the Skulls couldn't be hidden that easily anymore, making the Graveyard the tough place it was created to be. On the other hand this opened a hole for characters at the mentioned level range ~60-80 as they didn't have an appropriate place to train anymore. So tux9th and Cassy created the Troll Cave in January 2014. In the middle of April 2014 the Crypt was released, replacing the level 90+ area the Graveyard used to be. Now the Crypt is for level 90+ while the Graveyard can be used between level ~60-90, therefore the Fire Skulls and Poison Skulls were removed along with other mobs. This means both the Troll Cave and the Graveyard can now be used to train characters between level ~60-80.
The creation of the Trolls (Pixel Art by Fother) and the Undead Witch was necessary as there weren't really other monsters that reward you with a fair amount of EXP for those levels before.
The Terranites in the south-western corner of the map were added after some players complained that there should be another place to hunt Terranites outside the Terranite Cave where PvP is enabled and causing frustrations sometimes. However, the Terranites in the Troll Cave have a slower spawn rate, meaning they don't re-appear as fast as the ones in the Terranite Cave.
Location
The Troll Cave has the map ID 043-4. To go there start by walking south of the Soul Menhir in Tulimshar through the gate and into the desert. Enter the cave at the south-western part of this map and leave it again in the south-western corner. Enter another cave which is just a bit more north and follow the path until you hit another entrance to a cave. Now you are in the Troll Cave.
