Christmas 2009
Start date December 2009
End date January 2010
Reoccuring No

During this event, Santa would warn the young hero/heroine (the player!) that he was not really in the Christmas spirit, because the evil Jack Frost stole all the Christmas Ornaments.

Jack Frost would never get off his naughty list, after all, how could we have Christmas without a proper Christmas tree? The elves got too depressed to work.

Players could then say that Christmas was all about money, which would make Santa disappointed and say that it was too bad, because the player had been on the nice list since they were 3.

Otherwise, Santa would ask player to find the 6 different kinds of ornaments which Jack stole and hide with monsters all over the world.

Once player delivered Santa the six ornaments:

Santa would reward players with the official Christmas 2009 headgear, the Snow Googles.

The elves would also give player a little something to say thank you. It could be, randomly and with same chance, one of those:

The player would also receive another item randomly (perhaps their Christmas Gift?), which would be one of those below:

Last but not least, the player would receive 20,000 exp and 20,000 gold for helping Santa out, and the quest would be complete.

Trivia

If the player was named xxDimondXX, they would get teased by Santa for being in the Naughty list of Santa; For teasing developers too much on IRC. And as result, maybe in the quest end they would only get a Lump of Coal.

If they said "I Dimond D. Stone promise to be nice in IRC", however, the quest would go on, and the threat to get only a Lump of Coal would never be executed.
