This article collects information regarding the conceptualisation of the gameplay of The Mana World

This article is currently only a proposal

The features or design guidelines described in this article are only a proposal made by one or some persons. It has not been evaluated or accepted by the core development team yet. Feel free to add your personal opinion about them or make counter proposals.

Killing monsters and completing quests is fine and good, but sometimes you just have to relax and take a break from hacking up mobs and enjoy the finer things in life. For this reason, the inhabitants of any world will devise games to pass time. These games are available for the players to enjoy and master, and many may come with susbstantial rewards for the effort.

Minigames: (Feel free to append your games to the end of the list)

  • Murder Ball (Maybe someone will give me a better name... please)
  • Pet Racing (Race pets trained in the pet system in a triathlon style event.)
  • Card Game (Cardgame using the Mana Elements and monsters and so on.) See also PvP Games
  • Wack-a-maggot (wack-a-mole with maggots)

(I removed these suggestions because they seemed more like quests than minigames)

  • Finding Statuettes (A game that could be a mini-quest where you've got to find hidden statuettes based on clues given by an old man.)
