Olvide mi contraseña
- Para una cuenta de juego sigue estas instrucciones: Reinicio de Contraseña
- Para el Wiki y los Foros debe funcionar el reinicio de contraseña. Si ya no tienes información de estas cuentas, por favor sigue las instrucción del hilo arriba y anota en el correo que también necesitas reiniciar el Wiki y los Foros.
Me registre en una Cuenta de Juego antes de que se requiriera un correo electrónico; cómo lo cambio?
- Inicia sesión en The Mana World
- En el chata teclea esta directiva reemplazando la ultima parte con el nuevo correo electrónico: @email a@a.com <NuevoCorreoElectrónico>
- ejemplo: @email a@a.com cheese@gee-mail.com configuraria la cuenta con cheese@gee-mail.com
- Proteger tu cuenta con un correo electrónico te asegura rápidos reinicios y asistencia para problemas ya que podemos verificar al propietario de la cuenta.
Mi pantalla está en negro/blanco y/o parece loca o no puedo actualizar
- Intenta descargar el paquete más reciente en Descargas
- Prueba con una versión más reciente de Manaplus

¿Cúales son los atajos de teclado?
Lea el fichero README que vino con su instalación para el listrado o presione F1 en el juego para ver el menú de ayuda. Los atajos de teclados son configurables. Para más información véase [Barra Amarilla].
¿Cómo asigno mis atributos?
- Fuerza: Permite que golpees más fuerte con armas cuerpo a cuerpo.
- Agilidad: Evita que tus enemigos te golpeen frecuentemente y aumenta tu velocidad de ataque.
- Vitalidad: Aumenta tus puntos de vida (HP) y su índice de recuperación. Disminuye el daño que recibes por golpes.
- Inteligencia: Aumenta tus puntos de maná (MP) y su índice de recuperación. Este atributo también determina que clase de pócimas recibirás cuando viertas hierbas en el caldero de Caul, y aumenta la potencia de ciertos hechizos.
- Destreza: Permite que golpees más fuente con arcos. Permite que yerres menos frecuentemente al golpear tanto con arcos como con armas cuerpo a cuerpo.
- Suerte: Permite que consigas golpes críticos de vez en cuando.

¿Qué significa MP?
MP significa "Puntos de Maná", por tanto, estos son los puntos que se utilizan para invocar algunos hechizos mágicos.

¿TMW tiene canal IRC?
YSi lo tiene. Para acceso web directo sin cliente IRC ir a http://webchat.freenode.net/?channels=#themanaworld.
Fuera de eso, puedes unirte a estos canales con tu cliente IRC:
- Servidor: irc.freenode.net
- Canal: #themanaworld (asistencia al usuario y discusiones fuera de tema)
- Canal: #evol-dev (canal para programadores, principalmente contenido)

¿My plataforma es compatible?
Por el momento el servidor sólo es compatible con linux. No tenemos paquetes para servidor así que tendrías que compilarlos desde la fuente. Las instrucciones pueden encontrarse aquí: Aprender a programar.

Where can I look for help?
The IRC channel, [Support], is a good start for solving small problems or doubts. Most people are from Europe (UTC or UTC+1 timezones), or the Americas (mostly UTC-5 to UTC-8), you will have more success at certain hours in the day. Please do not log out if you do not get an answer immediately.
For more complex problems (compilations problems, crashes...) it is advisable to use the forums, as it is a non-volatile way of storing your claims. If you do it in IRC, some people won't have the opportunity to read them and your opportunity of getting further help will be narrowed. At the same time posting long logs or reports on IRC is not polite.
Of course, using the search feature and reading the forum announcements is a smart thing to do.
When is this game updated?
This depends on the availability of developers. Every TMW developer volunteers their free times, and there are periods when free time is scarce. New content could be very quick to come or very slow depending on this. To keep up, visit our forums and IRC!
The Manaplus client is its own project and with complete control of its own releases. Manaplus releases frequently and is always responsive to our needs.

Common problems
When I try to login using the account that usually works, I get following message: Disconnected from server
The message is misleading. It means that the game server is not online at the moment. Try again later.
If you really want to make sure, make sure you're trying to connect to server.themanaworld.org and that the port in your config.xml is set to 6901.
If that is the case and you still are not convinced it really is down, run "ping -c1 <host>" to check if the server's machine is up at or run "telnet <host> <port>" to also check if the server software is listening on the port you specified. Telnet should timeout after a while if it cannot connect to the specific port on the host.
