Suggestions

This section is present so that I can voice suggestions about the wiki, both as a reminder to myself and for open review. Note: The majority of my suggestions are likely player-directed.

Definitions

Map area - a single map, geographically, as implied by the game.
Region - multiple map areas merged with similar geography. (eg: Woodland area, composed of multiple maps areas: Woodland, Woodland Hills, Hurnscald, Swamp, Graveyard)
Priority - Importance to implement, as defined by the user's need for information. Thus, functional knowledge shall rank higher priority. (1 being the Highest, 10 being the lowest)
Relative priority - priority as expressed within sub-suggestions, compared only between each other

Pages by geographic importance

Priority
Undecided

Players may find it easiest to visualize areas of the game geographically, but this view should not be forced.

Universe/Creation

Relative Priority: 5
Cont: Mythology

World/Continents

Relative Priority: 4
Cont: Mythology, Geology, Geography.
Overview of all continents with links to their pages as necessary.

Individual continents

Relative Priority: 3
Cont: History, Geography.
Overview of the continent with links to Regions contained in it; Regardless of whether the Region appears in game. May include links to especially-notable cities/areas.

Regions (or multimap areas)

Relative Priority: 2
As described above, regions are areas with similar geography discussed as one (Woodland, Desert, etc.).
Cont: History, Geography.
Overview of the region making note of and linking to cities and locations in the region. Especially notable landmarks may be mentioned, especially for travel guidance.

Cities/Locations

Note
cities may be multimap areas, although whether to separate the city into North/South etc Cities or to express it as a single city is both up to the developers and consensus. This may override the need for multiple single map pages in some cases where the information is better expressed as a whole.

Relative Priority: 1
Cont: History, Geography, Notable interactives.
Overview of the city mentioning especially notable contents and locations as well as discussing subsections

Individual maps

Relative Priority: 2 (justification: Some maps are better expressed in a Location/Region)
Cont: Geography, Gameplay, Notable interactives.
These pages should primarily discuss the contents of the map, as well as dealing those elements.

List of maps

All maps should be exhaustively listed on a page (preferably a table containing ID, Name, Geographic Location, links)

Pages by concepts

Priority
Undecided

Players will also be searching for information related to elements defined in the game which are not expressly physical.

Quests

This sub-suggestion is mostly done, but may require splitting up some multi-quest pages. (possibly placing multiquest information on geographic pages)
Each quests might have it's own page. A region, city, or map page could link to these.
Categories could be used to organize quests geographically (eg: Category: Quests Category: Woodland quests)

Stats

This sub-suggestion is already implemented, but not wholly.
Ideally, a general page discusses the most important stats. (as currently done)
However, stats requiring advanced depth should have their own pages. (eg: Other wikis have pages over Health discussing exhaustively all of the possible interactions.)
Additionally, An exhaustive list (with links) of *ALL* implemented player properties and values, calculated, static or accumulated is needed. (see below)

List of concepts by type

All concepts that can be listed at length should be exhaustively listed on a page (preferably a table containing both Name, Description, ID, Links) that is specific to their type. (eg: List of Stats/Player properties, List of Quests)

Specific suggestions and WIP

Tulimshar city page (WIP)

Hurnscald city page

The existing Hurnscald page is pretty much a stub, although it contains some useful information. I would like to see it greatly expanded with city-sections, nearby locations/landmarks, and NPC/monster/quest contents (possibly on linked map pages)

Nivalis city page

Desert region page

Woodland region page

Development/Player changes

Some main-namespace topics that players will search for result in pages containing development and proposal information. Player pages should be developed under the main name and development pages either renamed or moved to other namespaces.
