The features described in this article are already implemented in the game. The article should describe how a certain aspect of the game currently works. You may of course edit this article to improve the description of the circumstances. Your opinions or improvement suggestions about the described aspects themself are of course appreciated, too. But please put these on the discussion page of this article to keep facts and fiction separated.


Summary

Set in what might appear to be a hostile desert, Tulimshar is the first city and major port that players will see. Tulimshar hosts a large number of quests of various difficulty which take place both in town, in the nearby Sandstorm Desert and in a dangerous cave there.


Parts of town

Suburbs

The suburbs are the beginning area for all new players. Quests here seem to present players with a chance to master the basic controls and dialogue as well as offering a small amount of problem-solving to advance to the next area.

Port

Divided into two sections by water and a bridge, the Tulimshar Port area has a large western area, containing NPC's and exits to new areas, and a very small deserted eastern area. Tulimshar Port mainly takes the role of a crossroads; there are many paths, but little to keep a person there for very long. For the purpose of this section, we will discuss the western landmass.

North Tulimshar

North Tulimshar hosts a number of businesses as well as the government of Tulimshar and historical architecture. It also provides convenient access to the Tulimshar Canyon, Magic school and a larger marketplace to the south.

  • Government building - in the southwest part of North Tulimshar, just in front of a gate. [Expand as a new area or include info here?]

  • Historic building - in the southeast part of the area.

  • Jeric - just south of the Northwest gate.
  • Silvia - south of Jeric, near the Tulimshar Canyon exit at an intersection. (Provides directions)
  • Pauline - Western vertical road at a corner just south of the Canyon exit.
  • Inac - Just south of Pauline on the same road, standing in front of the Forge entrance.
  • Michel - Southern part of the western road, or just north of the government building (Provides directions)
  • Ara - Near the center of the map and in front of the bakery (Cake shop)

This area is closed to players; Supposedly for repairs.

Canyon

The Tulimshar Canyon is the main area for the Magic School and, to higher-level players, some more dangerous monsters who live in the canyon.

South Tulimshar

South Tulimshar hosts a large marketplace. With the proximity of a number of NPC resources (a bank, shop, Monster Points trading, general skills) as well as having a respawn point, South Tulimshar is frequented by both players on a mission or just looking for a place to idle.
