Any and every thing I have contributed and will contribute—on this wiki and all other related TMW resources—I give the TMW development team the rights to license and relicense under any Public Domain or Copyleft license of their own discretion. In any case of uncertainty, let it be known that I am rather willing to open up than close down. So be it. ❖

Here I’m keeping track of some ideas, that may be scrapped or moved otherwhere. Mostly I’m trying a few things to see if they’d work.

Conceptualizing the world

I’d love to help with this. Some areas:

Please do not take this split of culture/society to heart, it’s highly debatable and the above is just a way for me to manage it in smaller chunks. In general to me, cultural is of the more concrete individual and societial is of the more abstract society.

Of these I’m personally most intrigued of helping out with the second section: calendars/holidays, languages/writing, beliefs/religions and more—roughly in that order. But in order to do that, I feel that the first section needs to be fleshed out some more than it currently is.

What historical, current and future cultures of TMW is going to show up? How and where did they show up, have their prime time and at last disappear? What morphological and spiritual features do the cultures’ beings have that affect their language? What for do they need writing—if at all—and what material exists in abundance, developing the common writing? For those living in luxury and play, what arts do they peruse? What does the sky look like, what objects are usually seen and affecting the life? What limits have the spirits/gods placed on the beings, their physical and spiritual evolution? To what degree have the various cultures met and exchanged goods and ideas? What geographical features have shaped the evolution, the daily life and the myths?
