To make the game more enjoyable for everyone we decided to hire some game masters from the community.

So we are searching for volunteers who would like to take 3 (three) Game Master (GM) positions for enforcing the game rules and holding events on the current server and on the new server when it goes online.

When you would like to become a game master then please post your answers to the following questions here. We will only accept completely filled out applications which are handed in today. Any later applications will not be considered. Note that this is a one time chance. It is unlikely that we will hire game masters again in the near future.

Personality

Situation 1: Three different people tell you in the ingame chat that someone is a dropstealer. How would you react?

Situation 2: You banned someone for spamming and insulting people in ingame chat. The person offers you real life money for lifting the ban. How much money would you want? (People who answer "not for all money in the world" will not be accepted as GMs because they are obviously lying)

Situation 3: Someone is excessively abusing a bug which allows him to kill people outside of PvP areas without their consent. The person is someone who knows you in real life and threatens you with physical violence when he ever gets punished for his misdeeds by you or another GM. How would you react?

Situation 4: Islamist hackers broke into the TMW database and stole a list of all account names and passwords in clear text. They threat to publish the list unless we ban all players who got names which are offensive to muslims. What course of action would you suggest?

Situation 5: Imagine that you got two children. One of them is terminally ill and will die in a few weeks. Your other child is in perfect health. One day your healthy child suffers from an accident and the only way to rescue its life is a liver transplantion in the next two days. The only compatible donor around is your ill child. Would you agree to end the life of your ill child a few weeks earlier to rescue the life of your healthy child which could then live to old age?

Final Result

This is what Crush posted when the prank was revealed.

Spoiler warning: This section contains details that some people may not wish to learn. If this applies to you, take caution while reading this section (if you choose to read it at all).

Thanks for your interest.

Unfortunately we can't hire anyone of you, because you are all corrupt, think ego shooters are role playing games, don't know how to deal with terrorism, or simply don't believe in the teachings of L. Ron Hubbard.

All but EJlol. EJlol passed the test. But unfortunately this was just an april fools joke. We are currently not hiring any game masters. But thanks for your applications, you gave us all some good laughs.

Reception

Most players did not realize it was a prank until Crush revealed it. Except EJlol. This is why EJlol "won" the contest. After the reveal, some players joined submitting more applications, now with the prank spirit in mind, while a troll decided bashing at EJlol for his satirical answer.
