== Starsavek Cinderwebs Journal Day 1 ==

I was sitting at the table in the castle when a man spoke something in my ear. Being a mage it shouldn't have worked on me.
<br/>
<br/>
<i>But it did and I remember nothing more.</i>
<br/>
<br/>
I awoke in a room, rectangular in shape. I must have been out of it for a while as I was quite hungry and thirsty. Looking closer at the room I noticed some pillars and a lever. The pillars in this room radiated with a magical light, making me think that pulling the lever on the floor would be a bad idea. There is a single door leaving this room. Being rather worried about this strange turn of events I casted a protection spell on myself before continuing.
<br/><br/>
I walked out the door and immediately regretted it. Snakes everywhere. I cannot stand snakes, all slimy and slithery. Terrified, I made my way North and came to a bedroom, which is a rather odd thing to have in a cave full of snakes. A beautiful Top Hat was sitting on a dresser but I was unable to touch it. If I ever find the man that made that hat I'm sure he'd probably want it back. I noticed the snakes were slithering in and under the bed, so worked on getting out of there.
<br/><br/>
I barely made it out of the cave. The venom nearly got me. Once I made it out though there was a local who helped me with some Roasted Maggots and water. I stayed the night in this ungodly dessert, waking every once in a while to throw a lightning bolt down on the snakes that got close.

I awoke from the desert heat with a headache. I needed to find my way home, wherever that may be. I got up to thank my companion and walked off Southward. There I found what looked like a road running West with a little girl standing in front of a cave. First I went West but my passage was blocked by a magical wall. Giving up on that I figured I'd go through the cave to climb the mountain. Maybe I could see the surrounding area from the top and figure out where I was. In that maze of caves there was a spot where it forked once and I took the south route.
<br/><br/>
When I got to the top I found a rather rude woman obsessed with speed and meditation. She was rather rude so I said goodbye to her and headed back to the fork in the cave, and took the Northeast exit. This led me rather high up, away from those forsaken snakes. Just some weak scorpions instead. There was a red skinned gentlemen smoking a pipe. So I sat down by him and inquired about him. He said he was someone who worked with leather and is at peace in this spot. I agreed it that it was a nice spot. After climbing up that mountain twice I was exausted, so I slept there as night moved in.

I awoke wonderingfor a momentwhere I was,then I remembered. I was stuck.I looked from the mountaintop toward Gispaa. The road was blocked by lava flows and behind that actually digging their way through were orachs. A small army of them.from what  I've read they are vicious creatures but what was with the lava and the fires down toward Gispaa and the lava blocking roads. What was with the orachs out plundering. All these questions were making my head spin so I was going to go ahead and go northwest toward what looked to be Tulimshar at least from here it looks normal.
<br/><br/>
Tulimshar has a wizards council so maybe they can tell me what is going on. I headed down the mountain dodgeing some snakes and killing those I could not. I went over and took a look at the road back to Gispaa and figured it would be nearly a month or two for the orcs to dig their way through. I followed the desert along its southern wall and then it curved north where i could see a gaurded road. The guard would only say that he was there to watch for monsters coming through from the west. I immedialy looked south to see if the road had changed but to my surprise it hadn't. But there was something up there that did look promising a house.so I followed the cliff face eastward till it ran into a mine. The guard outside said he was just guarding the miners.
<br/><br/>
The miners were busy and asked for a hand so i helped them bring up some rock for the rebuilding effort. I asked them about that and they would only say the big earthquake. Well after my work was done I sat down to a nice roasted chicken leg and a mug of beer thinking about the earthquake there sure wasn't one before i was knocked out. Still wondering how long I was out for i asked one of the miners the way out to the house. he happily showed me and went back to his work. I carefully walked over to the house as dark was coming on and yelled out so they knew I was coming. When I got to the door there was a mage and dressed in black robes like myself. I inquired about him living outside of town and he said the spell he was using was dangerous to people so the council of wizards in Tulimshar forbade him from using it in city limits. He just shrugged he said the spell he was charging people for was a transmutation spell that alowwed you to transmute your abilities. Being a wizard myself I inquired about the spell and he says it won't last much longer the moons are just coming out of alignment.
<br/><br/>
Wait I thought to myself the moons wern't supposed to come into alignment for 75 years and would stay in alignment for only 5 we had concluded. So if the four moons are aligned or coming out of alignment I've beed in that room for 78 years at least. Malivox my fellow wizard allowed me the use of his bed and I got a right proper sleep that night.
