What is TMW Legacy? How it differs from TMW Evolved?
TMW Legacy is the oldest server built on an eAthena fork and extensively modified, with oldest data from around 2008~2009.
The code fork (tmwAthena) was deprecated and later deleted.
Player data and game content was migrated to the Evol2 codebase (an Hercules fork); Where it now lives.
The ported version was then dubbed TMW Evolved.
Differences
The following changes were done on TMW Evolved:
- Monster vs Player level now can affect EXP and DROP rates. - Equipment dropped from monsters may have modifiers (e.g. A Miner Glove which grants Str +1) - When skipping tutorial, Sorfina will auto-equip you.
