Originally, the Bucket was a reward from 2014's Trick or Treat event, together with the Autumn Mask. Since then, Trick or Treat has become an annual quest in which players may receive either a Bucket or an Autumn Mask, along with other treats.
The Bucket is nice Headwear for beginners, since it increases Defense by 5 without any penalty.
