Nutcrackers are tough enemies as they can take quite a lot of hits and are also able to do a lot of some damage. They are only found during the Christmas Event in which, within the storyline, they get out of control while usually being friendly. If you are lucky you might get Iron Ore or even an Emerald after defeating them.

The drops of a Nutcracker are needed in the following quests:
- Forest Bow Quest requires about 20 Raw Logs
- Wooden Shield Quest requires 40 Raw Logs
- Voltain's Dark Minds requires 5 Raw Logs
- Well Quest - 1 Raw Log can be used (optional)
- Cat Ears Quest requires 1 Raw Log
- Demon Mask requires 1 Raw Log
- Jack's Raw Logs requires 30 Raw Log each time
- Transmutation Magic Skill - about 40 Raw Logs needed (for casting #parum boo until it works)
- Lora Tay The Legendary Seamstress - multiple Cotton Clothes, depeding on which clothes you want to sew
- Agostine's Dream Dress requires 20 Cotton Clothes
- Magic Quests - Hinnak asks you for 1 Beer
- Setzer Quest requires 5 Beer
- Bone Knife Quest requires 1 Beer
- Iron Ingot - Jhedia needs 10 Iron Ores for each Iron Ingot
- Rauk The Alchemist or Caul The Alchemist will convert 1 Iron Ore to 4 Iron Powder for the price of 100 GP
- Heathin's Simple Rings requires 1 Emerald if you want an Emerald Ring
- The Lost Hitchhiker - The Gem Powders - you get 7-13 Emerald Powders for 1 Emerald
